The kayak frames manufactured by "NERIS" are marked by such features as simple assembly, reliable components and materials. Any non-reliable materials (such as plastic) that are prone to ageing due to effect of temperature, ultraviolet light, water, or salt, have been excluded from the frame.

Longitudinal set:
The stringer set is made of an anodized duralumin tube D16Т (DIN 2024), manufactured by “ALCOA” – a leader in aluminum alloys. This alloy grade is typically employed in aircraft engineering for particular robustness.

Keelbar:
The keelbar is made of a profiled oval tube, 20х35 mm. This tube ensures enhanced stiffness under vertical effect. Due to high profile of the tube (35 mm), the kayak skin is safely distanced from the crossribs and other contacting elements of the frame (thus preventing breakage of the skin in case of unexpected striking against a rock, log, etc.)

Washboard:
The washboard is made of special profile manufactured according to the drawings by "NERIS" (based on the mast track). The washboard is easy to install, highly rigid and elegantly looking.

Crossribs:
The "NERIS" offers two types of crossribs:
- "ALU-Light" Series crossribs: are made of duralumin tube D16Т, diameter 18 mm, using stainless steel knees;
- "Classic" Series crossribs: are made of 11-layer moistureproof birch plywood typically employed in yacht-building industry. The crossribs feature antimycotic impregnation layer covered by three layers of marine varnish by "Tikkurila" (Sweden). The aesthetic look and natural warmth of wood are the key features of "NERIS" kayaks.

Skin:
The skin is made of PVC fabric with hull density 1050 gsm (for the bottom), and 620 gsm (for the deck). The skin is made exclusively of high-quality marine fabrics by Mehler (Germany). The bottom features profiled protector strips along the stringers and keelson. The skins can be of various colors. The fabrics, threads and protectors employed in the manufacture of skins resistant to moisture, fungi and other aggressive factors.

Seats:
Since the spring of 2008, all NERIS kayaks are fitted with inflatable seats "Air-seat". These seats have been highly estimated by our clients. The seats feature belts for reliable fixation inside the kayak, also providing for forward-to-backward adjustment. Additionally, the inflatable seats are employed as air reservoirs ensuring unsinkability of the kayak. They are made of wearproof PVC fabric and nipples by "Halkey- Roberts" (USA).

Fastening and accessories:
The fixed fastening hardware of "NERIS" frames is made of stainless steel, brass, aluminum and duralumin.

Package:
The package is of simple and handy design. The package is manufactured of fabrics "Cordura 1000" and "Oxford 600", and, furniture by "ITW Nexus", which verifies the overall robustness and reliability of the kayak.
